About Dr. Kalavesis.
Former EMT in Los Angeles. Molecular biology at UC Santa Cruz. Competitive powerlifter.
Dr. Kalavesis is a naturopathic medical physician who graduated from Sonoran University of Health Sciences. Before that he studied molecular biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and worked as an EMT in Los Angeles.
He takes a holistic approach that starts with the foundations of health and brings in conventional medicine where it fits, and he's trained in functional medicine. He's passionate about nutrition, acupuncture, hormone therapy, regenerative medicine, movement therapy and botanical medicine. At Restore Health he sees most of the clinic's hormone and weight loss patients.
He listens first, and makes sure each plan fits the person in front of him. Outside the clinic he plays guitar, competes in powerlifting, cooks and hikes.
